Meet Dr. Reppas
Sam N. Reppas, DDS, MD
Dr. Sam N. Reppas was born in Lorain, Ohio. He attended The Ohio State University where he graduated Cum Laude in Microbiology/Modern Greek and continued his education at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry from 2002-2006. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2006 and while at the College of Dentistry, he was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
He began his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2006 at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Reppas completed his Medical Degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 as well as an internship in General Surgery in 2011. He trained at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Montefiore Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Oakland, and UPMC Mercy Medical Center. While in residency, he was involved in several research projects in regenerative medicine and has been published in the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Reppas returned to Northern Ohio upon the completion of his residency in July 2012. He provides care in all aspects of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery with advanced experience in wisdom tooth removal, comprehensive reconstruction and bone grafting, dental implants, as well as corrective jaw, maxillofacial and trauma surgery. He is also on staff at multiple area hospitals. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, American Dental Association, and The Greater Cleveland Dental Society. He is certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Personal interests include spending time with his wife and three busy children. Dr. Reppas feels privileged to be providing surgical care for the community in which he grew up in and is happy to be near his parents and friends again in Ohio.
